What is the Vision AI Companion on your Samsung TV
The Vision AI Companion is an all-in-one AI feature that lets you control the screen by voice or remote, discover content instantly, and receive visual and contextual answers right on display. It brings together multiple AI capabilities—including related information and content recommendations, AI-powered picture and sound enhancements, and access to AI apps and features such as Copilot, Generative Wallpaper, Live Translate, and more. This guide introduces the Vision AI Companion, explains its key features and requirements, and answers common questions.
Supported models and requirements
1. Supported models
The Vision AI Companion is available on 2025 TV models Q7 and above, QN60F (Only ZA/ZC), The Frame LS03F(W), Smart Monitor M7 and above, and The Movingstyle.
2. Requirements
- To use this service, you must agree to the Smart Hub and Viewing Information Service terms. The service is unavailable if not agreed.
- A network connection is required to use this feature.
- You must be signed in to your Samsung account to access the feature.

- This feature's availability may vary by model or region.
- Supported regions: South Korea, the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Canada, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia, and Brazil. Supported regions are subject to change and update.
- This feature is not supported through an OS update.
- Access to this service may be restricted if age requirements are not met.
- If content age restrictions are enabled on the product, a PIN is required to use the service.
- Changing the service language may limit certain functions or information.

How to start Vision AI Companion
You can start Vision AI Companion by using either the AI button on the remote or voice recognition.
When launched, the home screen displays available apps and suggested content. You can also ask questions, and the Vision AI Companion will show contextual answers or visual suggestions directly on the screen.
Here's how:
1. Using the remote control
Step 1. Press the AI button on your Samsung remote. If your remote does not have one, press and hold the Home button for more than one second.
Step 2. The Vision AI Companion screen will open.
Step 3. Press the Voice Assistant button on your Samsung remote.
Step 4. Ask a question. For example, "Show me some trending TV shows to watch now. " The answer will appear on the screen.
2. Using voice recognition
Access Vision AI Companion through Bixby. Make sure Enhanced AI Features under Bixby Settings is turned on to receive enhanced AI answers and related content recommendations through Vision AI Companion.
Step 1. Go to Settings > All Settings.
Step 2. Select Advanced Features.
Step 3. Select Voice.
Step 4. Select Bixby Settings.
Step 5. Agree to the enhanced Vision AI Companion service to activate.
Once the Voice setting is set,
Step 1. Wake up Bixby by saying "Hi, Bixby".
Step 2. Ask Bixby a question. The answer will appear on screen
Step 3. Contextual answers and related information will be displayed on the screen.
General questions and troubleshooting
1. Service updates and feature changes: Click to Search
The previous Click to Search has disappeared.
The features from the existing Click to Search service are now provided through Vision AI Companion with expanded AI capabilities.
2. Usage and availability
Viewing history: Why do I need to confirm the Viewing History Information Service?
Viewing history is required to understand your preferences and provide personalized, contextual recommendations.
Age restrictions: Why is the service restricted for minors?
Access is limited due to policy requirements. A PIN is required when content age restrictions are enabled.
Can I use Vision AI Companion while watching OTT services?
Vision AI Companion can be launched from all sources, such as Live TV, Samsung TV Plus, and OTT services. Some features may not be supported on OTT services.
3. Voice, data, and privacy
How to delete my usage history with Vision AI Companion?
- Vision AI Companion does not store conversation history, including the voice input.
- Conversation history is used only to process answers and continue the session, and it is deleted when the app is closed.
How do I change the AI’s voice?
The service supports only one voice, and it cannot be changed.
How do I use Bixby without the Vision AI Companion?
Disable the Vision AI Companion by going to Home > Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > Voice > Bixby Settings > Enhanced AI Features > turn off the Vision AI Companion service.
4. Answer accuracy and content relevance
The Vision AI Companion is not responding to some of my questions.
The service does not respond to questions containing violent, sexual, religious, discriminatory, or harmful content about individuals, countries, or businesses.
Irrelevant images or content (VOD, YouTube, etc.) appear.
The service aims to provide accurate, related information, but irrelevant content may occasionally appear. Please verify important information.
5. Other issues
The Vision AI Companion appears on the home banner, but the button doesn’t respond.
Update your TV to the latest software version and try again.
How do I stop using the Vision AI Companion service?
Go to the Vision AI Companion > Settings > Terms and Conditions > withdraw consent to disable the service.
