Samsung washing machine buttons won't work

If the buttons or control panel are not responding, it is often due to Child Lock being enabled or temporary issues like moisture or system glitches.
Follow the steps below to identify and fix the problem:
Step 1. Confirm the washing machine is turned on.
Step 2. Check for Child Lock and press and hold the Child Lock buttons to disable it.
Step 3. Check for moisture on the panel and allow it to dry if needed.
Step 4. Confirm the selected setting is supported for the current cycle.
Step 5. Unplug the washer for 60 seconds, then plug it back in to reset.
Notes:
- If the Child Lock icon is lit or flashing, the panel will not respond until it is turned off.
- Some options may be unavailable depending on the selected cycle.
