How to fix error codes on your inverter air conditioner

Discover how to fix Samsung inverter air conditioner error codes CF, CI, dF, and EC in this concise video. Learn their causes and step-by-step solutions to restore your AC efficiently.

CF error display

  1. The CF error display is a reminder to clean or replace the air filters of the indoor unit.
  2. If the error persists, press Options, select "Filter Reset", and then press SET button to remove the message.

CI error display

  1. The CI error display indicates the auto clean function is active.
  2. To cancel this function, press Options, select "Clean" and press SET.

dF error display

The dF error display if ice is formed on outdoor unit to indicate that the Automatic Defrost function is activated.

Please note that this function activates during Heat mode and prevent ice formation on the Outdoor unit.

EC error display

  1. This EC error code appears if a gas leakage is detected or the sensor is not functioning.
  2. In this case, switch off the AC from the main power supply and then turn it ON. If the error disappears, there might have been a sensor issue.
