How to change the owner of a device registered on the SmartThings app

Device ownership can be changed by resetting the device, then re-registering the device under the new user’s account.
If the owner of the device is changed, the previous owner can no longer use the device.
Please note: For instructions on resetting and re-registering devices, please consult the manufacturer’s product manual.
